Nearly three dozen participants attended a briefing on the Filipino Business Plaza project at the Filipino Community Center Wednesday, April 23. They heard a consultant discuss findings from a demographic study and a survey of the Filipino community. The meeting lasted about 1.5 hours and attracted a wide range of ages of both American born and Philippine born. Fully expressed was the need to involve the younger Filipino Americans and maybe trying to add boutique apparel shops. There was also concern about the distribution of Filipinos throughout the Seattle-King County area confusion with the FCS Village Project.
